Graduation of Pharmacy aptitude Test, commonly known as GPAT is an examination conducted by AICTE for performance evaluation of students. Students are given a scorecard and on basis of these scorecards they can approach leading pharmacy college in India for admission purpose.

Though, they may need to give separate entrance test for getting admission in a college but having GPAT scorecard help a lot. GPAT scorecard counts for 30-50% percent in admission eligibility criteria. In fact, many pharmacy colleges allot admission solely on the basis of B.pharma degree and GPAT scorecard. One such college is Ram Gopal college of Pharmacy (RGCP), a leading M.pharma college in Delhi NCR that offer M.pharma degree in Pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical chemistry.

RGCP also offers scholarship to GPAT qualified students. Also, scoring good marks in GPAT is not too difficult if someone prepare for it in a right way. In GPAT, one needs to answer multiple-choice objective type questions.

The question will be asked from the pharmacy subjects like Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy etc. There will be 150 questions in the paper for which students will be allotted three hours. Though, GPAT is a MCQ based test but it is not easy to qualify it as negative marking system is there. For every wrong answer one minus mark will be given and for right 3 marks will be given. For clearing GPAT one only needs focus of accuracy and studying on regular basis. One can also take up coaching classes as there many institutes that offer GPAT coaching, some of them are:-

So, candidates should start to study as if they start from now then they will have plenty of time in their hands for preparations and will pass GPAT with flying marks.
